Record AI agreements · from €1

Avoid disputes over your AI agreements.

Record which terms applied to AI use — which data, which output, which limits. With ProofReg Duo, both parties independently confirm the same version.

One version of the AI terms you both agreed on.

Why record AI agreements?

ProofReg records the exact version of your AI agreements on the XRP Ledger, with an independent timestamp.

If you work with AI under contract — an agency using AI, a supplier delivering output, or terms on which data a model may use — that field changes fast. Record the agreements the moment they apply, and later it is verifiable which terms existed, even if the tools and models have since changed.

You put the agreements in a file (a PDF or email) and record its fingerprint. Only those 64 characters go to the ledger; the text stays yours. ProofReg records which version existed — not who owns something or who made the output.

When does it matter?

ProofReg helps at any moment where it might later become unclear which AI terms applied.

Agreement on data use

Record which data a model was and was not allowed to use.

Delivery of AI output

Record what was agreed about the output.

Fast-changing tools

Models change; the recorded agreement stays verifiable.

Agency or supplier

In collaboration it counts which terms were the basis.

How do you record AI agreements?

ProofReg records your AI agreements in three steps: put them in a file, record the moment, and verify it later.

01

Put the agreements in a file

A PDF or email with the terms. Your browser calculates the fingerprint locally; nothing is uploaded.

02

Record the moment

The fingerprint goes onto the public XRP Ledger with a timestamp. With Duo the other party independently confirms the same version.

03

Keep the certificate

You receive a certificate id and verification link. Anyone can later check that these agreements existed then.

Solo or Duo for AI agreements?

ProofReg Duo lets both parties record the same AI agreements independently, and completes only on an exact match.

With Solo you record the agreements — enough to show that and when that version existed. With Duo the other party independently records the same text; only on an exact match is Duo complete. That fixes that you both held the same terms.

ProofReg Duo does not prove who owns or made the AI output; it proves you both held the same version of the agreements. That is exactly what the dispute is later about.

Certificate included

And the proof itself? Also recorded — free.

ProofReg automatically creates a certificate with every registration and anchors that certificate itself on the XRP Ledger too, at no extra cost.

You receive the certificate by email. The certificate can carry the email address it was sent to; because it is delivered by email, whoever holds it had access to that mailbox at that moment — so the proof is tied to an email address, not to a verified identity.

Because the certificate itself is on the ledger, no one can undetectably alter or backdate it afterwards — not even us. So even your proof has a proof, which anyone can verify without ProofReg.

What ProofReg does and does not prove

Does

  • ProofReg proves that this exact SHA-256 fingerprint existed on the XRP Ledger before a certain time.
  • The ledger transaction, certificate id, hash and ledger timestamp are public and verifiable without an account.
  • Optionally, ProofReg records a public label and registrant name chosen by you.

Does not

  • Who created the document or who holds rights to it.
  • Whether the content behind the fingerprint is formally valid.
  • Whether a self-entered registrant name was independently checked.
  • What is inside the file — ProofReg does not see the file.

Frequently asked questions

What is ProofReg Duo?

ProofReg Duo lets two parties each record the same document independently. Only when both fingerprints match exactly does the mutual registration complete. It proves you both held the same version, not that you agreed.

What does ProofReg record?

ProofReg records that this exact SHA-256 fingerprint, with the label and registrant you entered, existed on the XRP Ledger before the recorded ledger timestamp. That is independent and publicly verifiable, without sharing the document.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Your browser calculates the SHA-256 fingerprint locally. Only those 64 characters, plus an optional label or registrant you choose, are recorded. The file never leaves your computer.

What does a registration cost?

A registration costs from €1, paid with credits. Verifying a certificate is always free and account-free.

Can anyone verify the certificate without ProofReg?

Yes. A ProofReg certificate states the fixed anchoring account, the certificate id and the issue date. With those, it can be verified in a few steps on any public XRP Ledger explorer, without ProofReg.

Does ProofReg prove who made or owns the AI output?

No. ProofReg proves that a file with certain content existed at a moment — not who the author or owner is. For authorship or ownership, ProofReg is not the instrument.

Can I also record an AI output itself?

Yes. You can record any file, including a generated text or image. That records that this file existed at that moment; it says nothing about authorship or rights.
