Record it from €1 · XRP Ledger

No more disputes about which version.

You rarely need a judge if you have recorded everything — and if it does come to that, you stand stronger with ProofReg. From just €1.

Not one party saying: 'this was it.' But a verifiable record of which version existed.

What does ProofReg record?

ProofReg records the SHA-256 fingerprint of your file on the public XRP Ledger, with an independent timestamp.

You choose a file — a quote, order, work agreement or design. Your browser calculates the fingerprint locally, and only those 64 characters go to the ledger. The file itself stays on your own computer.

ProofReg proves your version existed at that moment. Who made it or who holds rights to it is not something ProofReg records — but that exactly this document already existed then, on a register no one can undo afterwards.

Privacy by design

Your file never leaves your computer.

ProofReg calculates the SHA-256 fingerprint locally in your browser; only those 64 characters go to the ledger, not your file.

You choose a file and the fingerprint appears at once. The file stays on your own computer — ProofReg does not see its contents, and cannot.

Adding a label or registrant name is optional and only becomes public if you choose it.

How does it work?

ProofReg works in three steps: choose your file, record the moment, and verify it again later.

01

Choose your file

Your browser calculates the SHA-256 fingerprint locally. The file is not sent or stored.

02

Record the moment

The fingerprint is registered as a transaction on the public XRP Ledger, with a ledger timestamp.

03

Verify later

You receive a certificate id that lets anyone verify the registration publicly, without an account.

What is ProofReg Duo?

ProofReg Duo lets two parties record the same version independently, and completes the registration only when both fingerprints match exactly.

Contracts used to exist in duplicate: one copy for each party. ProofReg Duo is the digital duplicate. You record your copy, the other party independently records theirs — not because one trusts the other, but precisely so that trust is not needed.

ProofReg Duo does not prove you agreed. It proves you both held the same version — exactly what matters when it later comes down to which quote, order or work agreement it was. Names and email addresses never go on the ledger; they appear only in the certificate, where they are needed.

Who is ProofReg for?

ProofReg is for anyone who wants to retrieve an agreement or file later exactly as it was — from freelancer to design studio.

Freelancers & small business

Record quotes, orders and order confirmations before any dispute starts.

Contractors & installers

Record extra work, planning and hand-over points — from €1 per registration.

Makers & designers

Record a design, concept or print proof at the moment it was ready.

Anyone with an agreement

Record a price agreement, idea or deal, without a lawyer and without sharing your file.

Certificate included

And the proof itself? Also recorded — free.

ProofReg automatically creates a certificate with every registration and anchors that certificate itself on the XRP Ledger too, at no extra cost.

You receive the certificate by email. The certificate can carry the email address it was sent to; because it is delivered by email, whoever holds it had access to that mailbox at that moment — so the proof is tied to an email address, not to a verified identity.

Because the certificate itself is on the ledger, no one can undetectably alter or backdate it afterwards — not even us. So even your proof has a proof, which anyone can verify without ProofReg.

What ProofReg does and does not prove

Does

  • ProofReg proves that this exact SHA-256 fingerprint existed on the XRP Ledger before a certain time.
  • The ledger transaction, certificate id, hash and ledger timestamp are public and verifiable without an account.
  • Optionally, ProofReg records a public label and registrant name chosen by you.

Does not

  • Who created the document or who holds rights to it.
  • Whether the content behind the fingerprint is formally valid.
  • Whether a self-entered registrant name was independently checked.
  • What is inside the file — ProofReg does not see the file.

Frequently asked questions

What does ProofReg record?

ProofReg records that this exact SHA-256 fingerprint, with the label and registrant you entered, existed on the XRP Ledger before the recorded ledger timestamp. That is independent and publicly verifiable, without sharing the document.

Is my file uploaded?

No. Your browser calculates the SHA-256 fingerprint locally. Only those 64 characters, plus an optional label or registrant you choose, are recorded. The file never leaves your computer.

What is ProofReg Duo?

ProofReg Duo lets two parties each record the same document independently. Only when both fingerprints match exactly does the mutual registration complete. It proves you both held the same version, not that you agreed.

Is this copyright, a patent or a notarial deed?

No. ProofReg is not a notarial service and does not establish copyright or a patent. ProofReg dates the existence of a fingerprint on the public ledger. It provides proof of existence-on-a-date — often exactly what you need before you share, submit or publish something.

Can anyone verify the certificate without ProofReg?

Yes. A ProofReg certificate states the fixed anchoring account, the certificate id and the issue date. With those, it can be verified in a few steps on any public XRP Ledger explorer, without ProofReg.
